A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and more:

  • Provides leadership for the development, design, and optimization of information technology and systems functions that support company business processes and technical platforms.
  • Tasks involve analysis, selection, and enhancement of enterprise systems, application software, network hardware/software installation, and database management.
  • Offers guidance for safeguarding the company's data, tools, and information systems.
  • Requires expertise in user group subject matter for applying system characteristics effectively.
  • Chooses, develops, and assesses personnel to ensure efficient function operation.
  • Collaborates with business sectors to comprehend requirements and implement solutions for maximum benefit.
  • Prioritizes resources and projects to support business objectives and value.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years in IT, with 3 years of experience as an IT Manager.
  • Minimum 3 years of ERP or large system functional experience, deep understanding of transportation management systems.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written communication.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with Blue Yonder TMS.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, and preferred business intelligence platforms.
