Farming Solutions is an important lever for our farmer-centric strategy. It is a step from the formulation of the strategy and development of the Crop Roadmaps.


We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will hold and lead interesting regional projects related to farming strategy.

We have defined clear focus areas for Latam to guide our efforts to deliver on Yara's ambitious targets.

This position as Business Development Project Manager is a professional in charge of ensuring local Latam teams complete all projects on time and within budget.


  • Coordinate people and processes to ensure that our transformation projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Project governance and structure can vary according to localization and key resources involved, and the position ́s main task is to ensure both project goals and scope are designed according to Yara ́s ambitions, and proper project plan execution.
  • Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope. In an opened and collaborative way with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business value and scalability across Yara Latam.
  • Actively collaborate within LatAm Farming Solutions, Yara America Digital Incubator and Agronomy teams in order to enable efficient implementation of the specific projects or initiatives that the position will lead, in context of the existing and new commercial processes, marketing, communication and agronomy policies and new developments.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Profile:

Education

  • Fluent in written and oral English
  • Agronomist, industrial engineer
  • MBA

Work Experience

  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects, of at least 5 years.
  • Experience in the launch of new products / services to the market.
  • The project management experience should be in digital or transformation projects. (Preferential)
  • Previous knowledge in Agricultural Business (prefered)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of product development and digitalbased projects.
  • Experience in designing GTM strategies and business models.
  • Be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Need to be a team player and have a problemsolving aptitude.
