Primary Job Function

The Demand Planning and NPI Manager will be responsible for the processes of demand supply planning, forecasting and for managing a comprehensive process for new product introduction ensuring that ANI delivers the highest level of forecast accuracy possible and meets new product launch and sales targets.
The primary responsibility is to create an accurate demand, ensure the right inventory at the right time with the goal of meeting financial plans, inventory targets and customer service goals.
To drive continuous improvement, the Demand Planning and NPI Manager is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate tools and procedures which can include but not limited to, the holistic process of the full demand planning providing the forecast team with tools needed to ensure forecast accuracy and monitoring and providing recommendations to reduce and/or eliminate backorders or out-of-stocks in clients and NPI trackers to assure successful new product launches.
This position drives alignment with cross-functional partners such as sales, marketing, finance, regional and local supply, manufacturing, regional NPI and procurement in order to achieve world class forecast accuracy.
Also, this role provides leadership for the affiliate S&OP process.
This Manager will lead the Demand Planning group (Demand Specialist and NPI Coordinator) and reports to the affiliate GM and is part of the directive team in the affiliate.
Core Job Responsibilities
:
List the primary tasks and/or activities this job performs on an ongoing basis.
Leads and manages the demand planning organization, drives skill and people development, elevates organization capability and quality of performance delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact for product supply and NPI for ANI Colombia Manages the weekly / monthly execution of the S&OP process Drive continuous improvement in the format and mechanics of the S&OP process Compiles and analyzes historical data, market trends, promotions, and opportunities that drive the forecast process.
Develop metrics and monitor / analyze forecast performance and drive year on year improvements in accuracy through process improvements (customer level forecasting, demand shaping techniques, etc ).
Provides overall analytical support for other operations and supply chain initiatives Collaborate and problem-solve cross-functionally with internal and external business partners Interacts and communicates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and others as appropriate to incorporate relevant business intelligence and forecast information.
Works closely with the Supply Chain Director to communicate demand levels and coordinate inventory strategies.Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
