Your Role and Responsibilities
Your mission as a Digital Technical Specialist is to work closely with the Digital Sales Specialist to progress opportunities in your client territory.
A confident technical expert who is aligned with the Digital Sales Squad territory team to design and demonstrate client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities.
Demonstrates product capabilities during live demand generation events.- Understands client needs and can proactively influence client's decisions and improve depth and breadth of customer technical capabilities.
- Influences the clients' technology strategy and recommends solutions that bring maximum value of IBM products.
- Leverages technical activities and accelerators to progress opportunities through handson selling.
- Collaborates with other digital sales specialties to increase digital sales technical credibility at scale.
- Technical sales support for key programs, events and select client engagements during the presales and postsales process.
- Experience with technology solutions and a deep level of technical skills in the assigned specialty products.
- Technical expertise to demonstrate product capabilities during live events
- Experiential selling to value sell the technology in a compelling way; teach and challenge clients using a Show not Tell approach
- Digital communications to leverage the convergence of technology and messaging to reach clients and prospects Agility / Adaptability to work as part of a cross functional team and able to adapt to changing markets/client needs
