Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for payroll and employee relations? We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Medellín If you have strong HR experience, Excel proficiency , and enjoy overseeing HR operations, this could be the perfect fit for you. If you're a payroll pro who's ready to take on a variety of HR responsibilities, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Colombian labor laws.
  • Handle novelty management related to time tracking, attendance, and other operational inputs for payroll processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes and social security contributions.
  • Manage and guide the disciplinary process , ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Support performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback systems.
  • Maintain and update HR records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in employee files.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives , fostering a positive work environment.
  • Administer benefits programs and address employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including leave management, sick days, and vacation accruals.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to address workplace conflicts and provide resolutions.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews and manage the offboarding process.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of the HR 360.

Qualifications:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Super plus if you have a signature for SSO. 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist and disciplinary processes. Proficiency in Excel and ability to manage data effectively. B2 level of English (or higher) to communicate effectively within the company. Thorough understanding of Colombian payroll laws and regulations. Strong knowledge of HR operations and labor law compliance. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A B2 level of English is necessary to perform this function. (Background with BPO or Call Center is preferred).
