Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Students with knowledge in System engineering, Information technology, administration, business, or related.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrates interest by the continually evolving craft of marketing.  The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.  Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.  Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills 

Responsibilities

Territory Channel Management

As a Territory Channel Manager you will shape the strategy and manage the execution of programs that drive partner profitability. Partner profitability programs accelerate partner cloud practice development by helping the partners build business plans, develop cloud offers, create go-to-market channels, form new business opportunities, increase partner satisfaction, and strengthen partner loyalty.

Responsibilities:

Determines audience needs, preferences, competitive landscape and behavior along the customer or product lifecycle. Ensures that marketing plans engage appropriate channel types and capacity to meet business needs. Implements a part of channel readiness programs that drive sales and technical skills for partners, for successful customer engagement. Engages with the field to drive program awareness and adoption, and to track engine utilization and effectiveness.
 

Solution Area Specialist

As a Solution Area Specialist, you identify our customers’ challenges and solve them through the latest software and services solutions. You will be our customers’ trusted consultant, thoroughly evaluating the health of their IT platforms and development environments and diagnosing areas for improvement. Your solutions drive measurable value, helping customers run their businesses more cost-effectively and efficiently and giving them a competitive edge in their marketplace. 

Responsibilities:

Positions Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration utilizing industry expertise to differentiate Microsoft solutions. Identifies market and customer needs and collaborates with internal teams to devise solutions to meet those needs. Develops and manages pipeline for territory and forecasts resource needs.

Channel Sales
Drives digital transformation for organizations by ensuring an active and engaged channel ecosystem aligned to customer needs. Manages partner capacity and capability to optimize partner impact on new customer acquisition, renewals, and consumption. Creates a local partner ecosystem by driving channel activation.
 
Responsibilities: 

Creates and nurtures a partner ecosystem with assistance from manager and others, to drive larger impact for the customer. Facilitates match-making to drive opportunities (e.g., cloud and solutions), connecting partners to sellers and identifying how specific business needs can be met via Microsoft solutions. Delivers and integrates partner expertise and solutions into sales cycles that grow consumption of Microsoft products. Leverages the voice of partners and customers through direct engagements, field surveys, partner events and surveys, listening systems, and social mechanisms, to identify and alleviate key customer and partner success blockers. Drives attendance to partner events and responses to surveys. Connects resources and programs to support partner co-sell pipeline velocity and alleviate friction points. Shares feedback among build-with teams and executes on corrections of errors in response to feedback.
