Join subtel as a Senior UX Expert and lead the enhancement of user experiences across our 13 webshops throughout Europe, including our latest addition, subtel.co.uk. This role is perfect for someone ready to shape and refine UX practices.

About Us: Founded in 2004 in Berlin, Germany, subtel is a leading eCommerce company specializing in spare parts and accessories for electronic and mobile devices. Serving over 1 million customers annually across Europe under the esteemed brand CELLONIC®, we established our office in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2022, to support our team in Berlin.

What we seek: We are looking for a Senior UX Expert to lead and develop our UX initiatives, with a focus on enhancing user interaction and functionality across our webshops, including our new webshop, subtel [dot] co.uk. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in data-driven UX enhancements, and proven leadership in team development.

As a Senior E-Commerce UX Designer, your responsibilities will include

  • Defining and leading the UX strategy for the improvement of 13 web shops.
  • Working with our graphics department and developers across Berlin and Europe.
  • Using advanced data analytics to understand and improve user behaviour.
  • Continuously improve UX designs based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Improve the user interfaces for each web shop, with a particular focus on improving the new subtel.co.uk.
  • Build and manage a UX team dedicated to continuous development and optimisation.
What we expect:
  • Advanced degree in design, HCI, psychology or related field.
  • At least 5 years of UX design experience, particularly in the eCommerce space.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools.
  • Experience of leading and building teams.
  • Proficiency in UX tools such as Google Analytics, Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
