Lead UX Strategist for E-Commerce Transformation

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior E-Commerce UX Designer to join our team at subtel GmbH in Bogotá, Colombia. As a Lead UX Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience across our 13 webshops throughout Europe and beyond.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of UX design experience, particularly in the eCommerce space, and exceptional analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis tools such as Google Analytics. They will also possess strong leadership skills, having led and built teams in the past. Proficiency in UX tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop is essential, as well as excellent problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy to improve user interaction and functionality across our webshops.
  • Work closely with our graphics department and developers across Berlin and Europe to ensure seamless integration of designs.
  • Analyze user behavior data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine UX designs based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Enhance user interfaces for each web shop, with a focus on improving the new subtel.co.uk.
  • Build and manage a dedicated UX team focused on continuous development and optimization.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in design, HCI, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of UX design experience in the eCommerce space.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools.
  • Experience leading and building teams.
  • Proficiency in UX tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
