A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Lead the design and development of cloud-based data pipelines using technologies like Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, Coalesce, DBT, Airflow, Oracle and Python. Champion best practices for data architecture, governance, and security. Define and implement data quality standards and processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements. Stay up to date on the latest advancements in cloud data technologies and trends. Mentor and guide junior data architects and engineers. Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering or related field. At least 5 years of proven work experience as a Data Architect. Fluent in English level. You love to work with data and transform raw data to actionable insights for the business. You have proven experience in data modeling and data architecture design, with a strong focus on cloud-based platforms. You have proven experience implementing data warehousing solutions (cloud preferred) You are extremely comfortable with SQL language and with designing ETL and ELT data pipelines. Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior-level data architects and data engineers. Experience with large enterprise systems & solutions. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) You like to experiment with new technologies and share your knowledge with others in inspiring presentations. You are proactive and keep a constant communication with the team members and the business partners. You have no trouble in translating a business requirement into a technical data architecture design. Working in an Agile team makes you happy. You have experience with CI/CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git You have Experience with Test Automation. Nice to Have
Experience in Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Kafka, Hadoop and Spark. Experience in Informatica Cloud or Informatica Power Center. Experience in DBT or Coalesce.
