We're Hiring: DevOps / Platform Engineer (LATAM Only)

We're partnering with a fast-growing US technology company to bring on an experienced
DevOps / Platform Engineer
to join their distributed engineering team. This is a
remote, long-term, independent contractor
role open exclusively to professionals based in
Latin America
.

You'll play a key role in building scalable infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD, and supporting cloud-based systems across multiple environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Terraform or similar).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to streamline workflows.
  • Plan and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP also valued).
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, deployment, and operations.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure and processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (
    AWS preferred
    ).
  • 3+ years working with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible).
  • Solid experience with containers & orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
  • Familiar with IAM, cloud security, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with distributed teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing multi-account AWS environments.
  • Background in software development (JavaScript or PHP).
  • Ability to query SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Assertive, proactive communication style.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • AWS certification (Associate or higher) is a strong plus.
