A Day in the Life
The role is responsible for overseeing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, R&D technology solutions, and data archiving platforms. This position ensures alignment with enterprise standards, drives governance, and harmonizes technology capabilities across the organization to support innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Oversee Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, R&D technology solutions, and data archiving platforms to ensure enterprise alignment and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architecture, Demand, Quality, Security) to ensure compliance, manage remediation, and validate documentation for new implementations.
- Drive execution of technology demands, ensuring efficient processes, strong user experience (UX), and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Lead harmonization and consolidation of platforms, including RFIs, tool evaluations, and support for M&A and integration activities.
- Provide leadership and direction for the development, protection, and optimization of enterprise systems, ensuring efficient IT service delivery and compliance
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing enterprise software systems, PPM tools, or large-scale IT governance programs.
- Strong understanding of licensing models, contracts, and vendor management practices.
- Expertise in infrastructure standards, system architecture, and SDLC methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, coordinating cross-functional projects, and ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
