We work with privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and institutional investors seeking growth, capital solutions, and strategic exits. Our Bogotá office supports international deal execution across multiple industries.

Position Overview

The Vice President – Mergers & Acquisitions will lead deal execution from start to finish, manage client relationships, and guide junior team members. This role requires strong transaction experience, financial expertise, and the ability to work across multiple deal streams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full M&A deal execution: valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Oversee financial modeling, comps analysis, and creation of client-ready materials.
  • Manage analysts and associates to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support origination efforts.
  • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and diligence teams throughout transactions.
  • Strengthen the firm's market positioning through strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of investment banking experience, including 3+ years leading M&A transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage live deals and mid-market client relationships.
  • Strong technical skills: valuation, Excel modeling, financial analysis, and presentations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management capabilities.
