We're seeking an experienced Support Engineer to join our technical support team for a leading internal developer platform (IDP). In this role, you'll troubleshoot technical issues, support customers and internal teams, and help ensure smooth operation of a modern developer self-service and DevOps ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and resolve support tickets across platform, configuration, and integration issues
- Provide frontline technical assistance to customers and internal teams
- Troubleshoot integrations involving Terraform, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers
- Support community channels (Slack) and respond to developer questions
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams
- Identify documentation gaps and suggest improvements
- Perform operational tasks like issuing credentials, updating accounts, and running internal scripts
- Join customer calls to troubleshoot complex issues when needed
Schedule
This is a full-time role (Mon–Fri) with a rotating Saturday half-day shift. Engineers assigned a Saturday shift receive a weekday off during the same week.
RequirementsWhat You Bring:
- Solid DevOps foundations and familiarity with platform engineering workflows
- Working knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes basics
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Ability to understand and debug simple Python scripts
- Comfort using support tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira Service Management)
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, New Relic, etc.)
- Basic ability to test and debug REST APIs with tools like Postman or curl
