Role Overview

The Gorilla Logic Product Architect will play a dual Architect and Hands-On Engineering role with full stack experience, bringing primary front-end software design and development proficiency. This role is critical in balancing the team to support sound architectural decisions, alignment with Microsoft best practices, and hands-on

implementation.

The ideal architect will be experienced across the .NET/C# ecosystem and modern front-end frameworks, able to bridge the gap between legacy VB systems and a future-ready Microsoft-based architecture.

The Solution Architect I role is an early-stage, client-facing position designed to support the Solution Engineering organization. It is ideal for a technically experienced, analytically minded engineer or consultant who is transitioning into architectural and consultative responsibilities.

This role supports more senior Solution Architects and delivery engagements by contributing to client discovery, solution framing, and delivery readiness.

This position serves as a preparatory step toward Solution Architect II, offering growing exposure to architecture, technical sales, and strategic delivery while developing the experience and leadership required for full solution ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Solution Design

• Participate in client discovery sessions to capture business needs, pain points, and technical context.
• Contribute to architectural artifacts such as integration diagrams, solution outlines, and technical narratives under the guidance of senior architects.
• Support the refinement and communication of high-level solution options, providing input on trade-offs and client alignment.
• Support solution storytelling by drafting visuals, narratives, or key architectural

assumptions for proposals and presentations.
Support early-stage client engagements by gathering technical context, drafting initial solution sketches, and surfacing dependencies or constraints.

Technical Leadership and Delivery

• Act as a hands-on architect who actively contributes to front-end and full stack development while ensuring adherence to Microsoft engineering best practices.
• Bridge the gap between legacy VB systems and modern .NET/C# and front-end frameworks, ensuring modernization and maintainability.
• Facilitate communication of architectural intent, assumptions, and constraints between solution architects and delivery teams.
• Assist with monitoring solution-level risks and dependencies in collaboration with technical leads.
• Contribute to hands-on development or prototyping activities when necessary.
• Stay current on trends and practices related to Microsoft Azure, AI, and automation within engineering services.
• Actively explore and test AI-enhanced tools (e.g., generative coding assistants, prompt engineering techniques) to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality.
  Support Gorilla Logic's innovation initiatives by contributing insights from applied usage.

Sales Support and Business Development

• Contribute to the technical development of proposals and early-stage opportunity framing, supporting Solution Architects and Practice Leads with insight and artifacts.
• Participate in sales pursuits to gain exposure to the consultative lifecycle.
  Provide technical insight and a solutions-based approach for sales pursuits and proposals.

Leadership and Internal Contribution

• Engage in Solution Engineering forums and working groups to share insights and

contribute to Gorilla Logic's architectural practices and accelerators.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical enablement assets that support Gorilla Logic's service delivery and innovation culture.
- Participate in architectural reviews, estimation exercises, and capability-building projects.
Contribute to Gorilla Logic's internal documentation, templates, and solution playbooks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Typically 7+ years of experience in software engineering or consulting, with demonstrated readiness to move beyond delivery execution into architecture, pre-sales, and cross-functional solutioning. Equivalent experience as a Principal Consultant may also apply.
• Demonstrated depth in .NET/C# full stack engineering, with strong front-end proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
• Proven ability to integrate or migrate from legacy VB or similar systems to modern Microsoft architectures.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, design patterns, and trade-off analysis.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, microservices, APIs).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfort with ambiguity and learning through iteration.
• Strong collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and delivery teams.
• Ability to earn credibility quickly with clients.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations in the United States or Gorilla Logic offices in San José, Costa Rica, or Medellín, Colombia as needed
