Job DescriptionAECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking Architect II with experience in design, drafting, and construction documentation to work in our Bogotá, Colombia offices.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
- Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.
- Maintaining liaison with design and drafting teams.
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, independently performing advanced technical assignments of varying complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
- Coordinating technical and administrative activities with other disciplines and departments, in collaboration with the project lead.
- Assisting in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS + 2 YORE of experience in design, drafting, and construction documentation. Proven involvement in building projects within infrastructure environments is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in transportation systems, railways, airports, data centers, or industrial facilities is considered a plus.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration with other departments.
- Proficiency in English (B2–C1 level required).
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM tools.
- Basic understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and industry standards. Knowledge of American standards is considered a plus.
- Ability to perform technical quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet established standards.
