**Role Description**

Design, build, maintain, and optimize robust and scalable technology solutions with high-quality standards. Contribute technical expertise to the development of backend services and tools that generate value for both the team and clients. Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvements in processes and architecture, with a strong focus on best practices, security, and sustainability.

**Key responsibilities**

1. Design, build, test, debug, support, and maintain software solutions with scalability, extensibility, and maintainability in mind, ensuring compliance with requirements and alignment with established best practices, patterns, and standards.

2. Develop deep knowledge of the project’s technology stack, contributing to design, planning, and architectural decision-making.

3. Participate in and promote code review processes, providing constructive feedback to elevate collective technical quality and continuously improve practices.

4. Identify and resolve medium-complexity technical issues, and collaborate in analyzing complex system design or logic challenges.

5. Lead or contribute to the definition of software projects, focusing on design principles, structural definition, and architectural decisions that ensure long-term solution effectiveness.

6. Provide technical guidance, resolve blockers, and support team members in problem-solving.

7. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end, smoke tests, etc.) to ensure solution quality and effectiveness.

8. Follow, promote, and improve established security practices, with a focus on prevention and proactive monitoring of security issues in current and future projects.

9. Define, document, and properly share technical documentation for components, systems, integrations, and workflows using available tools.

10. Provide accurate time estimates for software development tasks.

11. Stay up to date on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends relevant to backend development.

12. Actively participate in training and learning spaces offered by the team or the organization.

13. Use, propose, and promote the adoption of LLM-based tools to improve workflows, effectiveness, quality, and development speed, following company AI policies.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. Non-mandatory if supported by proven backend development experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or Fullstack Developer, with strong expertise in Python and Django.
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
- Experience in developing and maintaining unit and/or integration tests.
- Knowledge and experience with Docker.
- Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix operating systems.
- B2 level English proficiency (conversational).
