Job Offer: Accounting Specialist (On-Site) – Bogotá, Colombia

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounting Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and receivable, billing, and collections, with a strong ability to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.

Bogotá, Colombia (On-Site Position)

Type:
Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
  • Handle collections and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for management review
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes
  • Assist with any other accounting-related tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing, and collections
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must reside in Bogotá, Colombia, and be available to work on-site
