We are looking for a Business Assurance Senior Specialist to join our Merchant Controls team. This role is critical to ensuring the company's revenue assurance through controls over fees, FX spread, and merchant balances. You will be responsible for validating, analyzing, and monitoring financial flows with merchants, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. What will you be doing?
  • Perform and enhance revenue assurance controls over merchant fees, FX spreads, and balances.
  • Execute audit and control procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to management on risk and control performance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and IT to resolve issues and strengthen processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to automate controls and reduce manual interventions.
What skills do you need?
  • 3+ years of experience in internal/external audit, financial controls, or reconciliations in multinational companies.
  • Background in auditing or control (Public Accountant or similar degree).
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written). Nice to have Portuguese.
  • Experience in public companies and exposure to SOX controls.
  • Knowledge of fintech or the payments industry.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ownership-driven.
  • Proactive, independent, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

*For people based in Montevideo (Uruguay), 55% of the monthly attendance at the office is required. This requirement does not apply to IT and Fraud roles.
