About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior AEM + Front-End Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you will design and optimize high-traffic web experiences by combining advanced AEM development with modern front-end engineering. You will be responsible for building AEM components, developing React-based interfaces, integrating APIs, and ensuring top-tier SEO and accessibility standards across all deliverables.

Responsibilities
AEM Development

  • Build Sites experiences using editable templates, Core Components, and ClientLibs.
  • Implement HTL, dialogs/policies, Sling Models, and OSGi services (Java is a plus).
  • Share expertise, guide best practices, and suggest improvements to AEM development workflows.

Front-End Delivery

  • Develop high-quality React components (TypeScript optional), CSS/Sass, and Webpack build configurations.
  • Optimize performance to meet Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse benchmarks.

SEO & Accessibility

  • Implement SEO best practices including metadata, structured data, sitemaps, and
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

API Integrations

  • Consume and integrate REST APIs using authentication, pagination, retries, and error handling.
  • Collaborate on API contracts, schema changes, and integration monitoring.

Quality & Collaboration

  • Write and maintain automated tests (Jest/RTL, Cypress).
  • Participate in code reviews and work closely with design, QA, and content teams.
  • Actively contribute to release planning, debugging, and feature development cycles.

(Optional) Cloud & DevOps

  • Deploy and operate workloads on AWS (S3, CloudFront, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements.

About You
You are a senior engineer with strong experience building digital experiences on AEM and delivering high-quality front-end applications. You can collaborate effectively across teams and translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications & Skills
Must Have

  • Deep expertise in AEM Sites: editable templates, Core Components, ClientLibs, HTL, Experience Fragments, and Content Fragments.
  • Strong front-end engineering experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and CSS/Sass.
  • Performance optimization and debugging skills (network, memory, rendering).
  • Proven experience implementing SEO and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Strong skills integrating REST APIs with authentication, error handling, and schema evolution.
  • Solid Git workflows, CI/CD experience, and participation in code reviews.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong collaboration skills within Agile teams, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Clear communication with product and technical teams to define deliverables, feasibility, and scope.
  • Proven track record delivering AEM projects, building new components, and integrating external APIs.
