We are seeking a
Payroll Specialist
to join our team in Bogotá. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for healthcare employees and reports directly to the
Payroll Director
. The role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and adherence to healthcare-related data privacy and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process
    weekly payroll
    end-to-end for hourly and salaried employees in a healthcare environment.
  • Review payroll adjustments, time records, and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer employee
    deductions, benefits, garnishments, and healthcare-related payroll components.
  • Work in direct interaction with employees in regards of payroll inquiries while maintaining
    strict confidentiality and data privacy
    to provide timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with
    HR, Coordination, Intake, Authorization, and Billing
    teams to ensure payroll data integrity and operational alignment.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports to support audits, internal controls, and financial accuracy

Systems and Tools

  • Strong proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
    (intermediate to advanced), including reporting and data analysis, advanced filters, Pivot tables, basic formulas.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of
    1 year of payroll experience
    .
  • Demonstrated
    attention to detail
    and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and
    data-processing skills.
  • Basic understanding of
    finance and payroll accounting principles.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage
    sensitive and confidential information
    in accordance with compliance standards.

Preferred / Desirable Experience

  • Payroll experience within the
    healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with
    HIPAA-aligned data privacy practices
    as they relate to employee records.
  • Experience with payroll processing platforms (Viventium, ADP or similar).
  • Background in
    billing, finance, or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems: (TCP, HHA Exchange or similar).
