Business Planning Lead

Act as the owner of the integrated business planning cycle, ensuring the synchronization of demand, supply, and tolling of the commercial unit.

Provide leadership and cross-functional alignment, translating business objectives into executable plans that balance service, cost, and inventory. Add value by enabling effective decision-making, driving S&OP maturity, and ensuring that the planning team delivers consistent, reliable, and actionable outputs. Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Commercial/Finance leadership, ensuring supply chain strategy supports business growth.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and govern the S&OP process (demand, supply, pre-S&OP, executive review).
  • Consolidate demand and supply plans into a single regional business plan.
  • Challenge assumptions from Sales/Marketing and Operations to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
  • Translate risks, opportunities, and scenarios into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-country alignment and ensure country inputs follow standard processes.
  • Own team KPI reviews and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop the planning team, ensuring skill growth and career development.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related

field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: 5–10 years in supply chain planning roles, with at least 3 years in regional or team leadership positions.
  • Technical: Advanced user of ERP/MRP systems (SAP), Excel/Power BI; experience with S&OP platforms.
  • Skills: Strategic planning, team leadership, stakeholder alignment, scenario modeling, negotiation, and risk management.
