Role Overview

We are looking for a highly technical professional to join our team as a Remote Electro-Mechanical & Automotive Operations Specialist. This specialized role sits at the intersection of electrical engineering, automotive technology, and remote systems operations. You will be responsible for the remote repairing of vehicle modules and providing critical back-office support for our ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration team.

Note: This is not a software programming/coding role. It is a technical technician role focused on software deployment, electrical systems, and hardware-to-vehicle communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Module Reprogramming: Use specialized remote-link devices to connect to vehicles in the US and perform computer/module "flashing" and updates.
  • Technical Diagnostics: Perform pre-scans on vehicles and conduct research on DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) to identify necessary repairs or calibrations.
  • ADAS Support: Provide office-based support for ADAS calibrations, ensuring all technical requirements are met for the on-site team.
  • Operational Workflow: Manage the full job lifecycle, including closing out service tickets, performing technical research, and generating client invoices.

Requirements

  • Technical Mindset:

While we will provide training, a background in technical fields, hardware-software integration, or basic IT/Development is highly preferred.
- Infrastructure (Critical):

You must have a
very stable, high-speed fiber internet connection

- Redundancy:

Due to the risk of "bricking" a car module during a mid-update disconnect, candidates must have a power backup (UPS/Generator) and a secondary internet source.
- Communication:

Fluent English is required to coordinate in real-time with technicians in the US.
- Availability:

Must be willing and able to work full US business hours.

  • A "tech-head" with an engineering foundation who understands how software interacts with complex hardware.
  • Someone who has previously worked for a remote automotive services company or handled vehicle module programming.
  • Detail-oriented enough to handle administrative tasks (invoicing/DTC research) when not actively programming.
