About the position
At Apollo XCM, we are looking for a Patient Care Specialist to join our international team and help us improve the healthcare experience in the US. In this role, you will ensure every patient receives the highest standard of customer care, acting as the key point of contact between patients, their families, and medical staff.
If you have a background in Hospitality, Customer Service, BPO, or Travel Agencies and love helping people, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your skills into healthcare.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients via phone, email, and text.
- Schedule and manage appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
- Answer questions and guide patients through their care journey with empathy.
- De-escalate situations and resolve patient concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintaining updated patient information, records, and documentation.
- Support patients with billing questions and account updates.
- Assist patients in navigating digital tools such as portals, apps, or websites.
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the patient experience.
- Contribute ideas to enhance our processes and share best practices.
What we're looking for
- University degree or Technologist degree.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English, C1+) — fluency in both written and spoken English is a must.
- Experience in Hospitality, Customer Service, Travel Agencies, Front Desk, or BPO.
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and passionate about helping others.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with technology and administrative tasks.
- Strong service-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude.
