As Associate at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks within international management consulting.

The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting information and insights, which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market
  • Supporting senior colleagues in sales dialogues, by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting
  • Preparing and arranging trade delegations, round table discussions and B2B meetings for Swedish companies
  • Work with international teams to deliver projects that support our promotional activities and clients in their international business development

The role is based in Bogotá, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

We are a small team. Thus, strong social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as a positive mindset and the ability to take initiatives.

  • You are a graduate in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations or other track or proven interest that is related with business management consulting with 1-2 years working experience.
  • A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish is a requirement.
  • Experience in project-based work, market analysis, partner searches, or management consulting is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative data, and able to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of the local political and/or economic context, with the ability to translate insights into relevant analysis and decision-making.
  • Proactive, hands-on problem solver with excellent communication and time-management skills, focused on high-quality deliverables.
  • It is a plus if you have experience from living/working in other parts of the world.
