Bilingual Certified Public Accountant CPA (Onsite – Sabaneta)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with professional experience to join our team in Sabaneta, Antioquia. The ideal candidate is an accounting graduate, holds a valid professional license that allows them to practice as a CPA in Colombia, and has at least a B2 level of English to interact with internal stakeholders and/or international partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and record accounting entries in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support tax, payroll, and statutory compliance processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and analyze variances.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing the required documentation.
  • Communicate with other departments (in Spanish and English) to clarify accounting information.
  • Propose improvements to accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting / Contaduría Pública.
  • Valid professional card/license that allows practicing as a CPA in Colombia.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
  • English level: B2 (able to read reports, write emails, and hold work-related conversations).
  • Solid knowledge of Colombian accounting standards and basic tax concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in multinational or service companies.
  • Experience reporting to foreign stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
