Legal Intake Assistant

Salary: 3,500,000 COP | $840 USD
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST (30-minute lunch break)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement

About Us

A fast-paced U.S.-based law firm is seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Legal Intake Assistant to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone fluent in English, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a client-facing environment. You will work closely with attorneys and case managers, playing a key role in client onboarding, case intake, and information management.

This is a long-term opportunity for a professional who wants to become a trusted and essential part of a dynamic legal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize incoming and outgoing emails related to client intake.
  • Contact and follow up with potential and existing clients via phone and email.
  • Gather, review, and organize client information and case-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and files within legal systems and CRMs.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and internal scheduling.
  • Support general case handling tasks, including organizing data and ensuring completeness of client files.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and spoken English (daily communication required).
  • Proven experience in legal intake or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with legal CRMs and online case management tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment.
  • English proficiency: C1 or higher.
