Position Overview:

As our Fractional COO, you will partner closely with firm leadership to drive operational excellence across two critical areas: sales performance and legal operations. You will ensure that growth is supported by strong systems, efficient processes, and clear metrics—while maintaining high standards of legal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Oversight

  • Oversee the sales department to ensure consistent lead flow, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for sales performance, pipeline health, and client acquisition.
  • Optimize intake, follow-up, and handoff processes between sales and legal teams.
  • Improve CRM usage, reporting, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine pricing, capacity planning, and growth targets.

Legal Operations

  • Oversee legal operations to ensure cases move efficiently from intake to resolution.
  • Standardize and optimize workflows, case management processes, and internal controls.
  • Partner with attorneys and legal staff to improve productivity, quality, and turnaround times.
  • Implement performance metrics for legal teams aligned with firm goals.
  • Ensure operational compliance, documentation, and process consistency.

What We're Looking for:

  • Proven experience as a COO, Head of Operations, Director of Operations, or Legal Operations leader.
  • Strong background overseeing sales teams and/or revenue operations, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success aligning sales, intake, and service delivery teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience building dashboards and operational KPIs.
  • Comfortable working in a fractional, advisory, or part-time executive capacity.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
