Job Title:
Paralegal / Case Manger (Personal injury USA experience)

Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm | EST

Job description:

Paralegal provides essential support to attorneys handling personal injury cases. This role involves managing case files, drafting legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies. The paralegal ensures cases progress efficiently from intake through settlement

Responsibilities:

Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Track deadlines for filings, hearings, and discovery. Schedule depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Legal Support: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Prepare subpoenas, settlement demands, and trial exhibits. Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.

Client & Third-Party Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance adjusters. Keep clients informed about case progress and respond to inquiries promptly. Evidence & Documentation: Gather and review medical records, accident reports, and witness statements. Calculate damages, including medical expenses and lost wages.

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in personal injury law.

Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Familiarity with medical terminology and personal injury processes.

Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
