JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for a highly experienced Senior Frontend React Developer who excels at building modern, performant, and scalable UI applications. The ideal candidate is deeply comfortable using Cursor, OpenAI models, and AI-assisted development techniques to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and automate repetitive workflows.
Please note: you must have at least 8+ years with frontend development and expert-level proficiency in React to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of complex React applications.
Build reusable UI components, hooks, and frontend frameworks that scale across teams.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Use Cursor, OpenAI API, and other AI tools extensively to generate, refactor, debug, test, and optimize code.
Implement state management patterns (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai) and ensure maintainability.
Ensure application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
Own the frontend CI/CD process and contribute to DevOps automation for frontend workflows.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
Stay current with the latest React ecosystem trends, performance techniques, and frontend tooling.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
Proven experience using Cursor as a primary development environment.
Strong experience using OpenAI models for coding, debugging, documentation generation, and architectural ideation.
Solid understanding of frontend architectural patterns (component-driven design, microfrontends, design systems).
Strong understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with solid written and verbal English skills.
Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
