Procurement and Purchasing Specialist
to manage the procurement of materials and products from our existing vendors and suppliers. This role is not responsible for sourcing new vendors but will focus on maintaining relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring smooth transactions with our current supplier network. The ideal candidate has experience in corporate purchasing, particularly in the industrial sector, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders after orders are confirmed and completed.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize margins on each deal.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering based on demand.
- Work closely with internal teams to align purchasing with company needs.
- Resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, purchase orders, and pricing agreements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent English
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Must be currently located in Medellín or willing to relocate at own expense.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume workload.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software/tools.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to company processes and take ownership of the role.
