About the Role

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects across multiple client environments. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting both technical and business requirements.

You will work closely with internal engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, proactive communication, and high-quality outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced IT Project Manager with MSP or enterprise experience who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end management of IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, network deployments, and application implementations

• Create, maintain, and update project plans, schedules, milestones, and timelines

• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change requests

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

• Facilitate project kickoffs, weekly status meetings, and project closeouts

• Ensure clear, structured, and timely communication with clients and stakeholders

• Identify potential concerns early and escalate appropriately

Team & Resource Coordination

• Coordinate efforts between internal engineers, vendors, and client teams

• Oversee resource scheduling and ensure proper allocation of technical support

• Track deadlines, task completion, and overall project performance

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed project documentation including SOWs, project plans, risk logs, and change logs

• Monitor budgets, forecasting, and cost controls

• Provide regular project status reports covering progress, blockers, budgets, and next steps

• Ensure smooth handoff to operations teams upon project completion

Process Improvement

• Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies across projects

• Recommend improvements to internal project management and delivery processes

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience

• Minimum of 4 years managing IT projects in MSP or enterprise environments

• Strong understanding of:

  • Network infrastructure

  • Cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure)

  • Cybersecurity

  • Server environments

  • End-user computing

Technical & Professional Skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, , and Jira

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred Certifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile, or similar certifications

Personal Attributes

• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills

• Comfortable navigating complex client environments with professionalism

• Familiar with fast-paced MSP operations and expectations

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred

• Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
