Senior Video Editor

About the Role

We're looking for a 
Senior Video Editor
 with a sharp eye, creative flair, and strong technical expertise to join our dynamic content team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves storytelling through video, and can take projects from concept to final delivery with minimal supervision.

You'll work across a variety of projects — including branded content, marketing campaigns, social media videos, interviews, documentaries, and ads — helping shape the visual identity of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full 
    post-production process
     from raw footage to final edit, including cutting, color grading, sound design, and graphics.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, directors, marketers, and designers to create compelling visual stories aligned with brand goals.
  • Edit 
    short-form and long-form
     video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, web, etc.).
  • Create 
    motion graphics and animations
     when needed using tools like After Effects or similar software.
  • Maintain 
    creative consistency
     in visual style, tone, and pacing across all projects.
  • Manage and organize video assets, file naming conventions, and project archives.
  • Stay current on video trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices.
  • Provide creative input on scripts, shot selection, and overall storytelling strategy.
  • Review and mentor 
    junior editors or freelancers
     as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, studio, or content-driven brand preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in 
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    , 
    After Effects
    , 
    Media Encoder
    , and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of 
    video formats, compression techniques,
     and 
    export settings
    .
  • Proven ability to tell visually compelling stories with excellent pacing and emotional impact.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with 
    audio editing/mixing tools
     and basic 
    sound design
    .
  • Experience with 
    graphics and animation
     integration.
  • Knowledge of 
    color grading tools
     (Lumetri, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
  • A 
    portfolio or demo reel
     showcasing a range of editing styles and high production value.

Preferred (Not Required) Skills

  • Experience with 
    motion design
     or 
    3D animation
    .
  • Background in 
    cinematography
     or 
    directing
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    social media video analytics
     and content optimization.
  • Basic understanding of 
    camera workflows
     and on-set production.
