Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and empathetic Scheduler to join our home care team. You will be responsible for coordinating caregiver assignments, ensuring clients receive timely, consistent, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust caregiver schedules based on client needs.
- Use WellSky to enter, update, and track schedules accurately and in compliance.
- Assign caregivers to clients based on skills, certifications, and availability.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to caregivers and clients in English and Spanish.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, last-minute changes, and emergencies efficiently.
- Collaborate with HR and management to identify staffing gaps and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, labor laws, and home care regulations.
- Monitor caregiver attendance and punctuality to guarantee reliable service.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in WellSky
- 1 year of experience in scheduling or appointment setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills for unexpected changes.
- Knowledge of home care industry standards and caregiver accreditation.
