We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to support the Finance division by overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring financial statements. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and assisting with monthly close processes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and excellent communication in English (C1 level), including understanding accounting terminology in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily accounting operations and supervise accounting staff.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and monitor financial statements, including variance analysis and explanations.
  • Ensure proper accounting for technical transactions in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Perform revenue and expense analysis to detect and correct errors.
  • Manage monthly close processes: allocations, income tax accruals, and timely financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, monthly reports, and cash flow reporting.
  • Coordinate activities across departments to ensure financial statement integrity.
  • Assist with audit preparation and responses.
  • Update and maintain policies and procedure documentation.
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve departmental goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • English level C1 (must-have) with strong understanding of accounting terminology in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting roles, including team supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services or fintech industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in audit preparation and policy documentation.
