We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing while maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves supervising payroll specialists, managing end-to-end payroll processes, and collaborating with HR and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, advanced knowledge of payroll compliance, and proficiency in payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including data input, verification, and payment distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Oversee payroll reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances for audits.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting to validate employee data and accounts.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports, providing insights on costs and trends.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate payroll policies and updates to employees and management.
  • Oversee payroll system maintenance and coordinate with IT for upgrades.
  • Review and audit time systems, timecards, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with HR-related matters and develop payroll procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • English level C1 (must-have).
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in payroll administration, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of Paylocity (required).
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in ADP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience with payroll system implementation and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with SUI, EDD, and tax compliance requirements.
