The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You'll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Integration Nodes and Servers: Experience in creating, configuring, starting, stopping, and monitoring Integration Nodes and their Integration Servers (formerly Execution Groups).
Application Deployment: Ability to manage the deployment of BAR (Broker Archive) files using the IBM Integration Toolkit, the Web User Interface, or command line interface (CLI).
Updates and Migration: Planning and executing version updates and application migration between different versions of IIB/ACE.
Bus Architecture: Understanding the concepts of an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and how IIB/ACE fits into the overall enterprise integration architecture.
Monitoring: Configuring and analyzing message flow statistics and resource statistics to evaluate performance.
Tuning (Performance Adjustment): Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks by managing parameters such as the number of threads in message flows and optimizing resource connections.
Troubleshooting: Use IBM diagnostic tools, such as error logs and trace files, to quickly identify and resolve connectivity issues, timeouts, or transformation errors.
IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ): Advanced knowledge of MQ administration (queues, channels, listeners, security) since IIB/ACE frequently integrates with this messaging system for asynchronous communications.
Integration Protocols: Solid understanding of common protocols used in integration: SOAP (Web Services), REST/HTTP, JMS (Java Message Service), and FTP/SFTP.
Databases: Experience in configuring database connectivity (ODBC/JDBC) and knowledge of SQL for queries performed within message flows.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
