Job Description – Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Location: On-Site - Bogotá, Colombia
Seniority: Mid-Senior
About the Role
The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, training, and engaging a team of CAREGivers to ensure the highest quality of service for clients. This role combines recruitment expertise with employee engagement strategies to promote retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employment inquiries in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies online and within the community.
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews.
- Perform reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and drug screenings.
- Create and maintain employment records (I-9, W-4, and other required documents).
- Organize and deliver CAREGiver orientation and training sessions.
- Develop engagement strategies based on the 5 CAREGiver needs.
- Conduct annual reviews and regular performance conversations.
- Partner with the Scheduling Department to coordinate schedules and ensure quality matches.
- Monitor and log client and CAREGiver activity in the software system.
- Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter.
- Update orientation and training materials as needed.
- Plan and execute CAREGiver meetings.
- Ensure compliance with labor and safety laws (EOE, ADA, FMLA, OSHA).
- Maintain consistent office attendance to fulfill responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients, and families.
- Use recruitment platforms (Indeed, Pre-intent) for candidate engagement.
- Ensure compliance with NJ state regulations and franchise requirements.
- Track KPIs related to hiring speed and onboarding completion.
- Conduct orientations virtually or in-person with professionalism.
Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or related roles (home care experience is a plus).
Background in customer service or sales strongly preferred.
Strong communication, multitasking, and project management skills.
Familiarity with recruitment platforms and scheduling tools (WellSky, Access Care is a plus).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Ability to work on-site initially; hybrid option available after onboarding.
