About the Role

We are looking for a
Business Development & Growth Manager
to lead Darwofts
commercial growth in Colombia
, with a strong focus on
new client acquisition and market expansion
.

This is a
commercial and strategic role
with a consultative approach, ideal for someone who understands technology services and knows how to translate business needs into valuable software solutions.

The role does
not
require account management responsibilities. Instead, it focuses on opening doors, building relationships, and expanding Darwofts client portfolio in Colombia.

You will work closely with leadership, delivery, and technical teams to ensure opportunities are well-qualified and aligned with Darwofts capabilities.

What Youll Be Doing

Commercial Growth & Business Development

  • Position Darwoft within the Colombian and regional tech ecosystem
  • Identify, prospect, and generate qualified new business opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and strategic partners
  • Understand client challenges and propose tailored software and staffing solutions
  • Lead discovery conversations and early-stage client engagements
  • Collaborate on commercial and technical proposals
  • Support negotiation and closing processes
  • Build a sustainable pipeline aligned with Darwofts growth strategy

Market Expansion & Brand Presence

  • Represent Darwoft at events, meetups, and industry spaces
  • Strengthen Darwofts visibility and reputation in Colombia
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential verticals

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure feasibility and value
  • Ensure smooth handoff of closed opportunities to delivery teams
  • Provide market and client insights to support strategic decisions

What You Bring

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in roles such as:
  • Business Development Manager
  • Sales Manager (Technology / Software Services)
  • Growth Manager
  • Technology Consultant with commercial exposure

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of software development and IT services
  • Experience selling or positioning technology solutions to business stakeholders
  • Consultative sales mindset, focused on long-term value
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology-driven solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Language

  • Fluent English (C1 or higher)
  • Ability to lead meetings and present proposals to international clients

Location & Availability

  • Based in Medellín or Bogotá
  • Availability to attend client meetings and industry events when needed
  • Strong interest in building and expanding Darwofts presence in Colombia
