Paralegal / Case Manager

Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 EST

On site Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Armenia, Bucaramanga

Job description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Pre-Suit Personal Injury Paralegal or Case Manager to join our team. This is an in-office role focused exclusively on pre-litigation matters related to personal injury car accident cases. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing U.S.-based personal injury claims and be ready to hit the ground running with minimal training. This position does not involve litigation work, and applicants should be aware that we do not handle litigation in-house.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of pre-suit personal injury claims
• Open and track insurance claims related to car accidents
• Request and follow up on medical records and police reports
• Provide timely updates to clients regarding case progress
• Initiate health insurance subrogation claims
• Review and summarize medical records for case development
• Prepare comprehensive demand packages for settlement negotiations
• Handle additional case-related tasks as needed to support claim resolution

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in U.S. personal injury pre-suit case management or paralegal work
• Strong understanding of car accident claims processes and documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures
• Proficiency in managing client communications and legal documentation
• Must be available to work on-site; remote work is not offered
• No litigation experience required or available in this role
