Daytime Nanny Job Description

Location: Medellín, Colombia

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Position: Full-time Certified Nanny (for 2 kids)

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare: Provide attentive care to two children (ages and other specifics to be defined by the employer). Engage in age-appropriate activities, including play, reading, educational activities, and outdoor activities.

Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, considering any dietary needs or restrictions.

Transport: Safely transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, or appointments, as needed.

Household Support: Perform light housekeeping related to the children's activities, including cleaning up after meals, playtime, and other activities.

Health & Safety: Ensure the children's health, safety, and well-being at all times. Administer medication if necessary, and maintain a first aid kit.

Communication: Regularly update parents on the children's activities, moods, and any issues that arise.

Education & Development: Help with homework, guide learning, and promote social and emotional development.

Requirements:

Certified Nanny: Valid certification from a recognized childcare program, with experience in child development.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a nanny or caregiver, specifically with young children.

Language: Fluent in Spanish; proficiency in English is a plus.

Travel: Preference for candidates who have a visa to travel internationally. If not, the family is willing to assist with visa requirements.

Background Check: Must undergo and pass a background check, including references and a criminal record check.

References: Must provide at least two references from previous childcare employers.

Skills: Strong communication skills, patient, loving, responsible, and able to multitask.

Nighttime Nanny Job Description

Emergency Response: Be available to handle any emergencies, including comforting the children if they wake up or need assistance.

Health & Safety: Monitor the children's health throughout the night, including ensuring they are breathing properly and are comfortable.

Light Housekeeping: Perform light duties related to the children, including preparing bottles or snacks, tidying their sleeping areas, and ensuring everything is in order for the morning.

Communication: Communicate any important events or incidents that occurred during the night to the parents in the morning.

Requirements:

Certified Nanny: Must hold a valid certification in childcare, with previous experience caring for children during overnight hours.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a nanny or in overnight care for children.
