Resumen: el contador especializado supervisa las operaciones diarias del departamento de cuentas por pagar. Procesa y monitorea los pagos de todas las entidades administradas por Balfour Residencial. Además del procesamiento de pagos, es posible que se le solicite al Coordinador de facturación que reemplace al Gerente de facturación o al Especialista en AP/AR.

Profile:

oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable department. Processes and monitors payments for all entities managed by Balfour Residential. In addition to payment processing, the Billing Coordinator may be asked to fill in for the Billing Manager or AP/AR Specialist.

Essential Functions

  • Processes all ACH/Check payments weekly through Yardi and QuickBooks
  • Assists with Vendor Payroll processing when required
  • Issues utility bills received
  • Audits Georgia Power and Gas South summary bills
  • Consults with utility companies for any account discrepancies
  • Creates and save lien waivers for payments above $5k
  • Assists with lien waivers required for mortgage draws
  • Oversees water leak account adjustments request, collect all data, submits and follows up
  • Correspond with vendors regarding invoice entries and payment details
  • Obtains and monitors vendor COI policies
  • Assists with providing utility bills when requested for possible property sale
  • Assists with the closing of vendor accounts once a property has sold
  • Assists with completing and processing payments for credit applications
  • Facilitates weekly correspondence with property managers regarding their workflow dashboard for payment processing
  • Processes requests from property managers to establish electric/gas connection
  • Review remittance confirmation emails
  • Assists with any other billing related task

Physical Abilities/Requirements

  • Fine dexterity to operate computers, calculator and other office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Visual acuity to inspect documents for accuracy.
