Key Responsibilities:

Report Development: Design and build visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI that meet business requirements.

Data Modeling: Create and maintain robust data models using Power BI Desktop, including relationships, calculated columns, and DAX measures.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Data Integration: Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, ServiceNow, cloud services, etc.) and ensure data accuracy and refresh reliability.

Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.

Documentation & Training: Document report logic, data sources, and usage guidelines; provide training and support to end users.

Governance & Standards: Adhere to data governance policies and reporting standards to ensure consistency and compliance.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices; recommend enhancements to improve reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.

Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques.

Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Synapse, or other cloud data platforms is a plus.
