As an Operations Analyst, you'll play a key role in modernizing and scaling core financial operations by combining process design, data analysis, and automation—including AI-assisted tools—to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight across the business.

Your Opportunity

This is a role to help launch and accelerate your career. One part operations, one part business analyst, and one part product thinker—you will help oversee, improve, and manage our payroll and financial operations systems, which process over $200M annually.

You'll work hands-on with data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work, improve reporting accuracy, and scale processes as the business grows. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to specialize in operations leadership, product, analytics, or crypto operations.

This is not a role for someone who wants a static job. You'll be expected to continuously improve processes, test new tools, and collaborate closely with product and engineering. What is expected from you:

  • Redesign and improve operational processes for scalability, quality, and efficiency
  • Identify and lead opportunities for automation and AI-assisted workflows
  • Use data to identify trends, gaps, and operational risks
  • Leverage SQL, Excel, and emerging tools (including AI) to support analysis and decision-making
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and external partners to drive client success
  • Take ownership of workstreams while proactively proposing process improvements
  • Continuously build technical skills and operational expertise

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in operations, analytics, fintech, payroll, or a similar field
  • Strong ambition, ownership mindset, and desire to learn
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Programming exposure (e.g., Python, R, or similar) preferred
  • Experience or strong interest in using AI tools for data analysis, automation, or operational problem-solving
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • English proficiency: minimum
    B2

Location & Work Model

  • Hybrid role based in Medellín, Colombia
  • In-office 3 days per week

Compensation

COP $3,500,000 – $4,000,000 per month
