Summary of the role:
Are you the next Associate Software Engineer - Network Planning for Airlines we are looking for?
This position supports projects through the design, implementation and testing of software solutions. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming.
In this role you'll: (day to day bullet style – be detailed)
- Be responsible for skeleton class design, algorithm implementation, rule engine setup and business logic development.
- Code methods based on the design document.
- Performs peer code review and creates test scenarios and tests code.
- Maintains high quality coding and validation standards throughout the development cycle.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
About the ideal candidate:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus up to 1 year of experience, Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Very good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and UML.
- Understanding of software development life cycle.
- Familiar with version control tools such as GIT and proper branching techniques.
- Experience in .NET framework, C#, Java or similar modern Technologies.
- Good experience in software development concepts including design patterns, algorithms, and security requirements.
- Working experience with relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL and MongoDB preferred) is a plus.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development process is a plus.
