The Systems Lead Engineer will provide best-fit integration architectural solutions for one or more projects; will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and lead integration development activities. In this capacity, the incumbent will provide technology direction, ensure project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions.

• Analyze integration problems and requirements to develop middleware workflow and API solutions using Java Spring Boot along with middleware products such TIBCO, Azure messaging, API Gateway etc on premise or on cloud ecosystems.
• Use theoretical and hand-on technical expertise to create new solution prototypes to showcase new use cases for integration technology
• Identifies, quantifies, and prioritizes solutions to address business and technical issues by meeting with managers, team members, and external vendors
• Monitor, manage and support large middleware architecture and landscape.
• Collaborate with other IT Teams, business users, management and vendors to determine system requirements and IT solutions needs
• Functions as leader and subject matter expert in integration platforms
• Research and validate innovative solutions (both external and internal), leveraging best practices and applying critical thinking approach for quality and process efficiencies.
• Develop policies , procedures, goals and best practices for app and data integration area
• Develop coding and performance standards and perform reviews to evaluate work against established standards
• Guide multiple project team with expertise in integration architecture designs
• Mentor junior developers and lead code review, technical sessions on designs, lead design discussions
• Lead proof-of-concepts on emerging technologies and use cases and ensure architecture artifacts and documentation are well-maintained.
• Engage and collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program creation/continual evolvement of enterprise integration view

• Must Have Knowledge and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required with at least 6+ years relative professional experience; OR Bachelor's with Master's degree in business, IT or related field with at least 4+ years relative professional experience
• Expertise in Java stacks (spring framework/spring boot etc) tech for middleware/backend services.
• Experience with developing enterprise grade APIs (REST/OData/GraphQL) using spring boot, use of API Gateway, API policies, Caching technologies (redis)
• Hands-on experience using Azure cloud services for production runtime environment.
• Strong knowledge of various integration approaches such as micro services, messaging such as AMQP/JMS/Kafka/Service Bus, API patterns, API gateway and API management etc.
• Strong experience in containers and container runtime environments such as kubernetes, docker, podman, azure containers and others.
• Hands-on experience designing APIs and messaging based integrations for mission critical applications
• Strong grasp of testing best practices (unit, integration, E2E).
• Experience designing database objects such as database tables, SQL queries, stored procedure and views, experience with no sql database.
• Strong knowledge of public key infra, SSL/TLS, certificates usage, OAuth, Key based authentication and other security patterns, B2B protocols, EDI.
• Solid communication skills, should be able to lead design discussions, clearly communicate with IT functional and business partners.
• Strong prior experience with XSD, XML, JSON schema design.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in Lead role
• Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
• Prior experience in migrating COTS middleware such as TIBCO/Mulesoft services to spring boot-based workflow services
• Prior experience for developing APIs over snowflake data, using Snowpark SDK
• Technical IT certifications either in any programming language or any integration/middleware platforms
