Role Description

This part-time role is located in Medellín. As a Trade Show & Conference Ambassador, you will represent VAO at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, showcasing our innovative solutions to prospective clients and partners. Your responsibilities will include setting up and managing booth displays, engaging with attendees to promote VAO's platform, gathering leads, and providing product demonstrations. The role also involves assisting in event planning and logistics, collecting market insights, and sharing feedback with the marketing and sales teams to enhance outreach strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience in event coordination, client engagement, or representing brands at professional events
• Knowledge of AI-related solutions, document processing workflows, or technology platforms is a plus
• Proficiency in organizational and time-management abilities
• Flexibility to travel and availability for part-time, on-site assignments
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic event environments

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Active US Visa
• Comfortable speaking with executives, managers, and technical professionals
• Ability to travel within the US (approximately 3 events per quarter)
• Availability during conference days (including setup and event hours)
• Prior experience in events, hospitality, brand ambassadorship, sales support, or marketing is a plus—but not required
