The SAP Basis and Security Support Specialist is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our SAP landscape. The role covers SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP GRC 12, with a strong focus on BASIS system administration, security governance, and compliance. As the company transitions to SAP RISE, the candidate will play a key role in both support and project delivery, ensuring a smooth migration and ongoing operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and support SAP Basis components: ECC 6.0, GRAC 12, Solution Manager 7.2, Fiori, and S/4HANA.
• Support SAP RISE transformation projects, including system readiness and security design.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and apply patches.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Administer SAP GRAC 12 Access Control (ARM, ARA, EAM) for SoD risk analysis, user access reviews, and compliance reporting.}
• Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations.
• Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and ISO27001.
• Collaborate with IT peers and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document processes, policies, and configurations.
• Participate in on-call duties to resolve urgent incidents.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP GRAC 12 Access Control.
• Experience in SAP RISE and S/4HANA migration projects is essential, given our ongoing transition to these platforms.
• Knowledge of databases (DB2 and HANA) and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO27001).
• Experience with SAP Security is highly desirable, even though the rol is primarily focused in SAP BASIS administration / support.
• Excellent problem-solving and English communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate across global teams.
