At SD Solutions, we're looking for a Legal & HR Compliance Specialist in Medellín, Colombia.

SD Solutions is a staffing company operating globally. We specialize in cutting-edge staffing IT services and are dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions to our clients.Our office is located in El Poblado, Medellín, Colombia.

Work conditions:

  • We provide free lunch during office days.

  • However, we do not provide additional private health insurance.

  • We cooperate under Indefinido contract. (contrato a término indefinido)

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in an international (preferably IT) company.
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal role.
  • proficiency in agreement drafting and revision, as well as deep knowledge in Colombian labor law.
  • strong business communication skills in English (C1).
  • result-oriented mindset, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • flexibility and proactivity, coupled with the ability to drive processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Drafting & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, addenda, HR policies, internal regulations, and formal letters (including disciplinary notices and termination letters).
  • Prepare standard agreements, policies, and compliance documentation for internal use.
  • Manage and respond to standard incoming inquiries related to legal or HR documentation.

Labor Law Compliance

  • Provide timely guidance on labor law matters and ensure consistent application of employment regulations across the organization.
  • Monitor legislative changes affecting employment and HR practices and advise stakeholders on required updates or process adjustments.
  • Ensure that SD Solutions' operations remain fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

HR Support & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries regarding labor norms, HR procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the HR department in resolving employment-related issues and implementing best practices.
  • Lead and manage disciplinary processes in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Oversee the entire onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with legal and HR standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a smooth start and exit experience for employees.

Cross-Jurisdictional Research

  • Conduct legal research and gather information on labor legislation and regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions, as needed to support expanding business operations.

Business Support

  • Provide legal and HR compliance support to all business units, helping teams interpret and apply relevant standards and internal policies.
