Location: Bogota (Hybrid Scheme: 2 days a week in the office)

We are seeking an Engineer II – AI with a strong focus on data engineering and business intelligence to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making across the organization. This role is hands-on and execution-oriented, working closely with data, BI, and product teams to design, build, and optimize analytical solutions using modern cloud and data platforms.

The ideal candidate combines solid technical fundamentals with strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data models optimized for analytics and BI use cases.
  • Develop and optimize SQL (T-SQL and Snowflake SQL) queries for reporting, dashboards, and analytical workloads.
  • Build, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards and data sources to enable business insights.
  • Work with cloud-based data platforms to support scalable and reliable BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and consistency issues across the data stack.
  • Contribute to best practices in data modeling, SQL development, and BI standards.
  • Support experimentation and early AI-driven analytics initiatives where applicable.

Required Technical Skills

  • Snowflake – data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
  • Tableau – dashboard development, data sources, and BI best practices
  • SQL Server – querying and integration with analytical workflows
  • T-SQL – strong proficiency
  • Data Modeling – dimensional and analytical models
  • Experience working within a cloud-based data ecosystem (AWS)

Tools & Technologies (Plus / Nice to Have)

  • AWS QuickSight (Quick Suite)
  • AWS Bedrock or exposure to AI/ML services in AWS
  • Experience supporting or integrating AI-assisted analytics workflows

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics-focused roles
  • Hands-on experience delivering production-grade dashboards and analytical datasets
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data architectures is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluent English is required; Interviews will be held in this language.
