What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced
Legal & Compliance Counsel
to support our team in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. Strong expertise in contractual law, AML compliance, and regulatory frameworks within the financial or insurance sector.

Main responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate Vendor & Service Provider Contracts, TOBAs, NDAs, Delegated Authority Agreements, and internal policies
  • Provide legal advice and identify contractual and regulatory risks
  • Support AML, compliance, and corporate governance initiatives
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate with external counsel and authorities as needed

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's in Compliance, Corporate, or Contract Law preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally within the financial, insurance, or reinsurance sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, AML, and policy development
  • Fluent in English (required) and Spanish
